Answer
1. Do you like perfume?notes
Yes, I really do like perfume /ˈpɜːfjuːm/, actually. It's kind of fascinating/ˈfæsɪneɪtɪŋ/ how a particular/pəˈtɪkjələ(r)/ scent /sent/ can, you know, evoke /ɪˈvəʊk/ memories and even influence moods/muːd/. I find that wearing /ˈweərɪŋ/ a fragrance/ˈfreɪɡrəns/ that complements/ˈkɒmplɪment/ my mood or the occasion /əˈkeɪʒ(ə)n/ can really boost/buːst/ my confidence /ˈkɒnfɪdəns/ and, um, kind of complete/kəmˈpliːt/ my outfit in a way.
notes
Oh, absolutely, I use perfume almost daily. It’s become a part of my morning routine. I usually choose a scent depending on, let’s say, the season or the type of event I'm attending. For instance/ˈɪnstəns/, lighter floral /ˈflɔːrəl/ scents for the day and maybe something a bit richer and more, um, robust/rəʊˈbʌst/ for evening events.
notes
Well, I generally/ˈdʒen(ə)rəli/ spray perfume on my pulse/pʌls/ points; that's behind my ears/ɪəz/, that is, on my wrists/rɪst/, and sometimes behind my knees/niːz/. These spots are great because they, um, help diffuse the fragrance throughout/θruːˈaʊt/ the day due to the warmth /wɔːmθ/ of the body. um, and I also give a quick spritz/sprɪts/ on my clothes—just to make sure the scent lingers/ˈlɪŋɡə(r)/ a little longer.
notes
Yes, I do send perfume as gifts, actually. It’s a bit of a personal and thoughtful /ˈθɔːtf(ə)l/ present, especially when I know someone’s taste in fragrances. However, I always make sure to find out which scents they prefer or if they have any allergies/ˈælədʒi*/—since, you know, perfume can be quite a personal choice and I really want to make sure they would enjoy using it.
